Questions deserve actual answers.
This is where the joke gives way to the project. The full Q&A will grow into TyTy’s answers on government, families, education, technology, health, community, democracy, animals, and the rest of the human mess.
Is TyTy really running for President?
No. TyTy is a real cat. TyTy 4 President is a civic, educational, philosophical, and creative project — not an electoral campaign committee.
Then why a presidential campaign site?
Because a ridiculous candidate can lower the temperature long enough to ask serious questions. TyTy is allowed to be funny. The answer still has to survive evidence and reality.
Why is microplastics the main launch issue?
Because it is an everyday problem where people can benefit from better information and practical choices now. The Microplastics / Hidden Plastics page is being expanded with current research, sources, uncertainty, and prioritized household actions.
What would TyTy change about education?
Start by teaching students how attention, bias, evidence, reasoning, uncertainty, and decision-making actually work — an age-appropriate owner’s manual for the brain.
What does TyTy think government should be good at?
Doing the boring, important things reliably: protecting people, making rules understandable, measuring whether programs work, correcting failures, and making ordinary life less needlessly difficult.
What about animals?
The animal in front of you matters. No Bowl Left Empty is the project’s rescue initiative, built around practical compassion and making it easier for ordinary people to help.
What about AI and technology?
Use powerful tools to increase human capability without quietly surrendering human agency, privacy, accountability, or the ability to say no.
Why “Ty”?
TyTy was named Ty for Tyrant. Which, in hindsight, may have been a little too much encouragement.
